Hi, I'm Claire McCann, founder of Haven Candles. What began as a creative escape from a busy nursing career has grown into a passion for crafting luxury soy candles and calming fragrances that bring balance to everyday life.
Inspired by the dramatic landscapes and ever-changing weather of my home country of Scotland and the beautiful Ards Peninsula, where I now live, each scent is thoughtfully created to transport you to your haven — whether that's a fresh sea breeze, a serene spa, or the comforting warmth of home.

Hand-poured candles and wax melts
We believe true luxury lies in thoughtful choices. Our candles and wax melts are hand-poured in Northern Ireland using plant-based waxes - soy for candles, and a rapeseed and coconut blend for melts — chosen for their clean, even burn and lower environmental impact. Renewable, biodegradable, and vegan-friendly, our waxes are carefully sourced to be free from paraffin and palm oil.
Our fragrances are crafted using high-quality oils, selected for their depth and clarity to create a beautifully balanced, long-lasting scent experience.
Every product is formulated in full compliance with UK and EU safety standards, with all fragrances responsibly assessed and registered.
